This book was published a couple of years ago, and I believe researches the names on the Kirkcudbright war memorial.
Copies I believe are still available from Dumfries and Galloway Family History Society, which is where I bought my copy.

I just picked up my copy of the WW2 volume today and excellent it is too with many biographical details as well as background of the war. No decent photo of the memorial or the inscriptions though, but we already have that. At £3.95 it is no more than the price of a magazine and far better value. |
