UKNIWM Ref no. 5702
The memorial tablet and stained glass windows in the Forfar Town and County Hall are dedicated to those who gave their lives in the two world wars.
Unfortunately I couldn't get access to photograph the windows.

Within the Town Hall, at the foot of the staircase on the ground floor, the names of the Great War fallen are printed in 9 panels surrounded by a wooden frame. Along the top it reads "LEST WE FORGET" whilst along the botton "SO THESE PASSED ON";

I tried to photograph the names without success. They will be replicated on the Roll of Honour posted here;

FORFAR REGULAR KILLED IN ACTION
Mr and Mrs Paterson, 124 Castle Street, Forfar, have been notified that their son, Sergeant Charles H. Paterson, Black Watch, has been killed in action with the Central Mediterranean Forces. Aged 27, he was a regular soldier and had about ten years' service. He has four brothers with the Forces —one in Italy, another in India and two prisoners of war.
