Hello,
Just realised that I hadn't introduced myself. Apologies! I came here via
http://scotfamtree.11.forumer.com/index.php, a great Scottish Genealogy Forum. I am researching my family history and part of that includes family who were involved in WW1 and WW2.
I have had some very helpful info on the War Memorial Site ,so thank you all very much!
Just want to update without hijacking someone else's introduction ....sorry about that birkettm. The medals I was looking for DCM, bar and 1st and 2nd World War group are safely with a cousin ! I was thrilled to hear that!
