Derek R introduced me to this forum. I specialize in researching Royal Artillery officers, especially those who served in the 20th Century. I have a reasonably good library and would be happy to help anyone in researching RA officers. Gunner 1

Welcome, Gunner1. I have all (or most, anyway) of the 4th Highland Mountain Brigade and Highland Divisional Ammunition Column (Great War) Officers and OR's in a Nominal Roll, if you'd care to swap data. Email or PM me if you are interested.

Mike: Thanx for the offer, but you and I have corresponded for a number of years and you have been kind enough to send me officers' lists, war diaries and various other materials over the years. How did the trip to Scotland work out? Gunner 1 (the northern California gunner).

Understood. The trip(s) were great and quite productive. It's encouraging to see the amount of interest in the old Territorial Batteries. I also have re-connected with several extended family members in various locales. If you get 'The Gallipolian' see this month's issue. If you don't let me know and I'll send you one.
