Notification today received by email from Mary -Clare Macfarlane , assistant Secretary , Scottish National War Memorial the castle Edinburgh re the Trustees have accepted

Private 2448422 John KEIR , 1st Bn Canadian Infantry (west Ont Reg) aged 34 years Killed in action 30th August 1918 France & Flanders .
born Fearn Forfarshire .
as a casualty of the Great War 1914 -1918 .

listed on the Friockheim war memorial in the village cemetery.
