Is this him?
CWGC:
Name: McPHERSON, JOHN
Initials: J
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Trooper
Regiment/Service: Royal Tank Regiment, R.A.C.
Unit Text: 12th
Age: 19
Date of Death: 27/04/1943
Service No: 7944988
Additional information: Son of John L. and Agnes G. McPherson, of Paisley, Renfrewshire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave/Memorial Reference: II. A. 4.
Cemetery: MASSICAULT WAR CEMETERY
SNWM:
Surname: McPHERSON
Firstname: John
Service Number: 7944988
Date of Death: 27/04/1943
Place of Birth: Paisley
Other: Royal Tank Regiment
SNWM Roll: SCOTSMEN IN VARIOUS UNITS
Rank: Tpr
Theatre of Death: North Africa
What exactly do you want to find out about him - is it his military history or his family history?
From his CWGC entry, you'll see he's listed as being 19 when he was died, making his year of birth c1924 and according to Scotland's People (www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk), there were only 2 John McPherson's born in Renfrewshire betweeen 1923 and 1925. The birth certificates aren't available to view/download as the dates are still too recent. The details from the index are:
1. 1923 JOHN LINDSAY McPHERSON, born Paisley, Renfrewshire.
2. 1924 JOHN McPHERSON, born Paisley, Renfrewshire.
Note that No. 1 above, John Lindsay McPherson would give him the same initials as the father John L. McPherson listed on CWGC.
On searching for his parents marriage, there don't seem to be any John L. McPhersons marrying an Agnes in Renfrewshire between 1916 and 1926. There are marriages for (all 1924):
1. John McPherson and Agnes Barr
2. John McPherson and Agnes Buntain
3. John McPherson and Agnes McCrank
These 3 Marriage certificates are view/downloadable from the above site.
If it's details on the Royal Armoured Corps, type it into google and there's loads of sites with varying amounts of information.
Hopefully you'll get what you're looking for.

This website is beautiful.
I was doing some research for my degree and stumbled upon this website.
I take my hat off to all servicemen who lost their lives for us. |

Date of Death: 07/02/1917
Additional information: Son of Thomas and Sarah Breslin, of 3, Paterson St., Paisley. Born at Glasgow.

Is the following man your uncle?
Name: BRESLIN, PATRICK
Initials: P
Nationality: United Kingdom
Rank: Ordinary Seaman

Unit Text: S.S. River Lugar (Glasgow)
Age: 20
Date of Death: 26/06/1941
