Donald Ferguson died on 7 June 1921 at City Hospital, Edinburgh. He was 35 years old. Cause of death: Pulmonary Tuberculosis.

Both his Service Papers and Pension Card state that his discharge from the Army was as a result of Tubercle of the lung caused by his military service.

He served with the 4th Highland Mountain Brigade, Royal Garrison Artillery. Service Number: 300318: Rank Corporal (Acting Sergeant).

He is buried in Warriston Cemetery, Edinburgh.

His case went forward to CWGC on 30 May.
