Details to follow.

CWGC lists 86 burials, not including the special memorials to burials at Dalziel Churchyard and the Globe Cemetery.

There are also a couple of Polish burials.

Dalziel (Old Manse Road) churchyard is still in existance, so I'm a little unsure as to why this memorial is here rather than in the original burial place.

I am told that that road was widened at the churchyard and some graves were lost at the time - this may include these two.

The firstof two Polish graves in the cemetery.

I have no other information on this man. I have contacted the webmaster of Polish War Graves in Scotland in the hope that he can possibly provide some more information.

This is the second of the two Polish graves. When I took this photograph, I noticed the flat stone in front:

which when turned over, revealed some more information, including the mans first name:

Can anyone out there translate Polish? I'm interested to know what the words at the bottom of the small stone mean.
