At St Anne's Church, Cortstorphine there is a Stained Glass window and plaque to 2nd Lieutenant Athol Robertson.

The plaque reads-
IN MEMORY OF ATHOL ROBERTSON 2ndLIEUT/ 3rd BATT. ARGYLL AND SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS/ ATTACHED TO 2nd BATT. BORN 29th MARCH 1897/ AT TENANDRY, PERTHSHIRE KILLED IN ACTION/ 26th MARCH 1916 AT CUINCHY BETHUNE FRANCE

He is not commemorated on the palque at Tenandry Kirk

Died 26/03/1916
Aged 18
2nd Bn.
Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders
Son of John Anderson Robertson and Jean Mathewson Robertson, of "Fonvuig," 3, Kaimes Rd., Corstorphine, Midlothian.
Born at Killiecrankie, Perthshire.
BETHUNE TOWN CEMETERY, Pas de Calais, France.

His grave marker is inscribed -
“STREW ON HIM ROSES, ROSES AND NEVER A SPRAY OF YEW”

An adaptation of a Matthew Arnold poem.
Requiescat
Strew on her roses, roses,
And never a spray of yew.
In quiet she reposes:
Ah! would that I did too.

Commissioned from OTC less than a year earlier, on 11 April 1915. (LG 9/4/1915 p.3557)

He is named on the Corstorphine War Memorial.
