Today I will be remembering the men of The Commomwealth who died in WWI and one man who died 100 years ago
George Laing Duthie Sjt 748 34th Australian Infantry b Aberdeen e Newcastle, NSW Age 26 Killed in Action F & F 04/04/1918 Son of John & Bella Laing Duthie, Findon School, Portlethen. City Roll of Honour: 70 Menzies Rd; Torry, Aberdeen. Educated Ferryhill & Central Higher Grade School. Occ: Warder. Em papers Robert St; Wickham, NSW NoK Mother. Occ: Labourer. Date maybe 4th or 5th. Villers-Bretonneux Memorial M. R. 26 34th Bn EE 15-04-18 Page 3: RoH ADJ 16-04-18 Page 5 Killed City & Portlethen
I have tried to post the info with a photo but didn't have one for this man. All to bring more people remembering and not just in November.
