First time uploading.....be gentle with me Confused

Photos taken when I was in Bathgate, Sep 2005.

Good idea Jamie, I should have thought of that Rolling Eyes Guess I was having a hard time as it was my first attempt at uploading photos.

I have three Great Uncles (but I am sure there is one more), on the Memorial:

Private C CURRAN, 8897, 1st Bn., Royal Scots
who died age 31, on 04 October 1917
Son of Mary Curran, of 64, Durhamtown, Bathgate, and the late Daniel Curran.

Private Daniel CURRAN, 13783, 2nd Bn., Royal Scots
who died on Wednesday 9 January 1918.

Private M KELLY, 71877, 3rd Battalion Machine Gun Corps (Inf),
who died age 30 on October 8 1918.
Son of Mr and Mrs John Kelly, of 23 Whitburn Rd, Bathgate, West Lothian.
latterly 71877 Machine Gun Corps (Infantry).
formerly 2758 Royal Scots.

I have been researching my Family History for about 5 years now and I am convinced that the J.Kelly nominated below Michael Kelly is also my Great Uncle. Joseph was the youngest Kelly of the family and would have been 19 when WW1 broke out. I have been unable to trace his whereabouts up to this present time.

Excellent pictures Davy. You mentioned you have some Great Uncles listed on the memorial who served in the Royal Scots? You should post whatever information you have on them to complement your pictures, anything that brings the names to life is very welcome!
all the best.
Jim
