I believe Cpl John Laing Miller Royal Scots (250815) may be a non-com

http://scottishwargraves.phpbbweb.com/viewtopic.php?p=22185#22185

Originally spotted by Adam Brown, his great niece Jane has also found some info, all we have on the link above.

Jim, you are far more experienced at these things, could you take a look and advise what we should do next to confirm one way or the other?

Thanks

Paul

This man is not on CWGC or known to IFCP.

Had a brief check and it looks like a good case but I need the DC to confirm.
Have requested this from Jane.

The service file does confirm he contracted Pulmonary TB in France in July 1918 and also provides a link to Kellerstain.

250815 Cpl. John Laing Miller, Royal Scots has been forwarded as a case, on Jane's behalf, to CWGC / MOD as a non comm post discharge death due to service related causes ( Pulmonary Tuberculosis ). His details are now in the system.

This is one which Adam Brown first found as a possible in 2008 on the war graves Forum. Recent information from Jane about her great uncle and Paul Goodwin allowed more accurate indentification of him.

Well done all in finding him.

Excellent news. I had forgotten about poor Corporal Miller so it's great to see this now being progressed.

Kind regards

Adam
