Location: St Serf' Parish Church, Ferry Road
This is a Charles Pilkington D'Orville Jackson carving of a Sunderland Flying Boat. It is in memory of John Gibson, one of the congregation of St Serf's who was killed in a flying accident near Mombassa in May 1945.
He is also commemorated on the St Serf's War Memorial
