The Roll of Honour of the Urr United Free Church is in the Haugh of Urr Village Hall.
The hall is in the centre of the village of Haugh of Urr on the B 794 north of Dalbeattie and north-east of Castle Douglas.






The list is headed by the two men who died and who were brothers.
140035 Sapper, William Murdoch, Royal Engineers.
Died at Basra, Mesopotamia. 27th June 1916.
20231, Private, James Grierson Murdoch, KOSB.
Killed at the Battle of the Somme. 3rd Sept. 1916.
