It looks like the Second World War names have been added to the bottom of both plaques. There seems to be names squeezed in on both sides.

This war Memorial is located at the old cemetery overlooking Uig and is found by going up an unclassified road on the south side of Uig and coming off the main A 87 road

Roll of Honour for Skye & Lochalsh by Graham Ross . Copies held in the Portree Library and Inverness Library.

Uig War Memorial

The Uig War Memorial is situated within the entrance gates to the old Uig Cemetery on a hill high on Glen Uig , above the village overlooking the bay .

The Memorial commemorates the names of 27 men who gave their lives in the Two World Wars of the 20th Century .
