Pte. M. Armitt, A.T.(?).
It appears the last initial of the branch of service is missing. I think it may be A.T.S.
No M. Armit(t)'s are listed on CWGC or SNWM for WW2.
A Margaret Mill Armit died in Bangour Military Hospital in 1945 from Pulmonary T.B. aged 22. She is listed as a "domestic servant" with a usual residence of Lamington, Biggar. No family info is filled in, her D.C. informant is her Guardian also from Lamington, Biggar. |
