Unlike the memorial for the First World War, this one is not listed on the UKNIWM.
This appears to be a similar design to the WW1 memorial, but it appears to be made of painted wood. It certainly isn't marble like the earlier memorial.
This is one of several memorials to the Second World War, in addition to a brass plaque and a stained glass window.
Close-up picture showing the names a little clearer. The names of the fallen are slightly different to those included on the stained glass.

Private Polli was one of those lost on SS 'Ceramic'. He was travelling to Cape Town. See here;
http://www.ssceramic.co.uk/casualties/search.php
We've got quite a few other on the forum already, I've seen the 'Ceramic' mentioned here before.

Driver Loewensohn was lost when the Clydebuilt SS 'Erinpura' was bombed and sunk whilst heading to Malta from Alexandria. He was one of 140 men from the Jewish 462 Gen. Transport Coy lost on the ship.
It looks like the 462nd Coy had been formed in Palestine so Driver Loewensohn may not have been in Glasgow when war broke out?
See here

Jewish Transportation Units (Royal Army Service Corps) fought in the Western Desert, in North Africa and in Italy. An entire Transportation Company was lost at sea when their ship en route from Africa to Italy was sunk by the Germans.

Harry Greenstein is listed as 16 Coast Regiment but I can't find any references to this unit.
