This memorial is just off the A96 near the Petty Tornagrain Church.

The roll of honour will follow shortly.

My feeling is that this is the Petty Parish civic war memorial. Both Petty and Tornagrain are listed on the Highland index list here. I believe that these are one and the same.

ADP is correct, the subject should be The Parish Of Petty War Memorial.

Although not very clear, the text on the memorial confirms the parish link. Tornagrain is a village in the parish of Petty.

Gents

Thanks for investigating this. I have now amended the title of this thread.

Regards

I have just checked my photo of the Tornagrain War Memorial. I am not sure that I will be able to transcribe the names correctly. I'll give it a go. If I can't, I'll try to get another photo with the details. If another member of the Forum doesn't get there first.
