Johan,
Thank you for the new photographs.
The memorial is going to become the shrine for the Scots (and South Africans) who visit the Immortal Salient.

Is this going to be a problem with lots of laminated A4 tokens being left at the base?
Is there going to be a need for a memorial garden like at the Commando Memorial near Spean Bridge?

Adam

p.s. Cracking photos Johan.

The problem with the memorial site is that it is at the brow of a hill, catching the wind.
A walled enclosure such as at the Commando Memorial would keep all the tributes from blowing down into Zonnebeke.

As you mentioned it, it catches indeed a lot of wind. To keep everything in place one needs to put stones on the wreaths, the tributes, etc.
It may become a problem.

Glad you like the new photo's.
