I am sure I saw the details on here with photos but can't find it.
I can post details but the photo is a film and will need to be scanned.
There is a book, Colonsay's Fallen, published on the island.

"Mr & Mrs Donald McNeill, Lower Kilchattan, have had intimation from the War Office of the death, on the 13th int, from pneumonia, of their youngest son, Nicol, Lance-Corporal in the Royal Highlanders of Canadian Contingent. Before war broke out Lance-Corporal McNeill had been employed in the Dominion Bank, Montreal. He was 24 years of age."
