This is a memorial stone in Hawkhead Cemetery, Hawkhead Road, Paisley, PA2 7BE

The memorial is located in 'M' section close to the Glen Cinema memorial which is on the edge of section 'R'. (R & M sections are the second & third sections on the left hand side of the main drive inside the gate.



The memorial commemorates civilian mass casualties during an air raid in WW2.

TO THE MEMORY OF
THE CIVILIANS AND PERSONNEL
OF
PAISLEY FIRST AID POST NO. 5 (WEST)
WHO DIED IN THE COURSE OF THEIR DUTY
MAY 1941
