Bronze plaque attached to undressed local stone slab.
Situated within a drystane enclosure on the edge of the island 'capital' Arinagour (surprisingly easy to miss as one's eye, and feet, are immediately drawn to the prominent memorial on the hill in the background, which is to a local worthy!)
This gun - of French manufacture and presumably of WW2 vintage - is located by the road from the ferry terminal to Arinagour.
