According to the UKNIWM database this is the inscription:

ST. OLA, ORKNEY, 23RD FEBRUARY 1898
KILLED IN ACTION NEAR ROULERS
BELGIUM 8TH JUNE 1917

Additional information: Son of Duncan John Robertson, of Crantit House, St. Ola, Orkney, and his wife Margaret Keir Garden.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Memorial: ARRAS FLYING SERVICES MEMORIAL

Archie Robertson's younger brother, Donald, was killed by shellfire in the evening of 6th August 1944 in Normandy.
Here are his CWGC details:

ROBERTSON, DONALD
Rank: Lieutenant Colonel
Regiment/Service: Cdg. 7th Bn., Seaforth Highlanders
Age: 38
Date of death: 06/08/1944
Additional information: Son of Duncan John and Margaret Keir Robertson; husband of Joan L. Robertson, of Broughton, Preston, Lancashire.
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead
Grave: III.B.20 in Bayeux War Cemetery
