The cemetery is very interesting in that it contains the graves of 16 air crew who perished in the Second World War. (mostly Dominion aircrew)
Charterhall RAF base was close by.

The Scotsman - Tuesday, 4th January 1921, page 5
WAR MEMORIALS
FOGO. — The war memorial which has been erected at Fogo takes the form of a lichgate at the entrance of the Churchyard, on which is placed a handsome tablet of Peterhead granite, bearing the names of 10 officers and men belonging to the parish who fell in the war. The memorial has been unveiled by Lady Edith Trotter, Charterhall. Capt. C. B. Balfour of Newton Don, Lord-Lieutenant of Berwickshire, gave a short address at the ceremony, after which the memorial was dedicated by Rev. Hugh Shirlaw, B.D., parish minister.

"... casualties among Berwickshire men who are serving with the 4th K.O.S.B. in the Dardanelles are reported... Private William Kinghorn, Bogend, Duns, died of wounds, son of Mr Peter Kinghorn. He was a rabbit catcher before joining the Territorials, and was 20 years of age."
