Not listed on UKNIWM
Location - in the hall in Shawhead Village at OS Map Ref: NX 869 759
Sorry about the quality of the photo, I was out for a drive in the country, noticed this hall in the small village of Shawhead and looked through the window – saw the memorial and photographed it through the glass. No idea whether there is anything else (e.g. WW2 plaque) inside so I will have to get access sometime.
These names are exactly the same (except that these are abbreviated) as the names on the memorial outside Irongray church.

John Wright was indeed in the South African Infantry:
Wright, Private John. Bonerick, Irongray. Enlisted July 1915 in 3rd South African Infantry, Transvaal Regiment. Served in Egypt and France. Reported missing at Delville Wood, 1st August 1916.
He isn't listed on the Scottish National War Memorial.
