Elderslie - Renfrew District

The Elderslie war memorial looks to be a modern (post WWII) monument featuring a small paved memorial garden and shrine built into the wall of the Abbey Cemetery.
The inscription reads:
TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND THE MEMORY OF
THE MEN AND WOMEN OF
ELDERSLIE AND DISTRICT
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN TWO WORLD WARS
1914-18 1939-45
