Spoons

A very nice photograph of a memorial that could easily be overlooked.

Nice one!

From the book 'Last Take Off'

3 May 1952, Aircraft Brigand B1 of 84 Sqn registration RH 755 Crashed South-East of RAF Butterworth with 3 Casualties

The aircraft was carrying out a strike against suspected terrorist positions near Chenedroh Lake Perak. After firing its rockets at the target, a flash was seen under the starboard wing and all the outer section broke away. The aircraft immediately dived into the jungle and was destroyed by fire. The cause for the apparent structural failure was not determined as the wing could not be recovered for detailed examination.
