UKNIWM Ref No. not listed
A very attractive memorial, one of the very few stained glass windows that I've seen on the subject.
Also interesting to note that the casualties from both wars are equal in number - another rarity. _________________

Should this count as the civic memorial for Eccles covering the parish rather than the church congregation?

My thanks to Alison Greenshields for the photographs. And to Ruth Holmes.
From the Buildings of Scotland (Borders) - the War Memorial window, 1948 by Douglas McLundie of the Abbey Studio.
