Interred in Lesmahagow Churchyard



In loving memory of CHARLES DAVID SCOTT MACKIRDY, Lieutenant, XI Hussars
Younger son of of W. A. Scott Mackirdy of Birkwood
Killed in action in France on 22nd March 1918 between Maissemy and Vermand, Picardy aged 24 years
Also Leopold George Frederic Elliot Fawcett, Captain, Lanarkshire Yeomanry
Killed in action on 6th November 1917 near Gaza, Palestine aged 28 years.
