Thomas Brownlie, lost his life in the sinking of the Lusitania on 7th May 1915.

As a First World War civilian he does not qualify for inclusion in the CWGC Registers.

Thomas Brownlie was traveling aboard Lusitania with his wife Margaret Brownlie (née McKennon). They were British citizens from Freeport, Pennsylvania, United States, near the Pittsburgh area. They bought their tickets in New York.

Margaret survived the sinking; Thomas did not.

This grave lists a Captain Henderson, who died 12th January 1931. There is no further information so he may not be a military Captain. I have included this grave in case he is.

B.Q.M.S. John Henry Cope, Royal Field Artillery and 52nd Lowland Division. Fatally inured on 27th September 1941 aged 60.

Given his age, I think his details are for previous service. He is certainly not listed by CWGC.
