There are 4 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war here. There are a further 9 Commonwealth burials from the 1939-45 war, 1 being an unidentified seaman of the Merchant Navy. There is also 1 Japanese war burial.

Nisaburo Murai, a seaman in the British Mercatile Marine, died age 51 of a coronary thrombosis at Knabdale POW Camp.
His usual address is given as 73 Seymour Street, South Shields.
