This Memorial sits on the Main Street in Slamannan.

Only son of Mr. & Mrs. Peddie Waddell of Balquhatstone
Who volunteered for active service in South Africa
With the Lothians & Berwickshire Imperial Yeomanry
And after the hardships of a year's campaign

I don't know whether this Plaque should be included. It's part of the Waddell Family Enclosure in Slamannan Kirkyard, so technically it's a gravestone.

I know and agree about the gravestone issue, that we should leave it to 'others' so if it's no-go, perhaps one of the administrators could simply delete it? (I won't go in the huff - honest!)

He's buried in South Africa so I'd call this a memorial and not a gravestone.
