UKNIWM Ref: 5906 (don't read too much into the details given by UKNIWM as the memorial is at least 3 miles from Armadale).
O/S map ref: NG 658 070 (and NOT NC 780 640 as UKNIWM give it)
N57 05.694 W5 52.071
Sleat memorial consists of a 16 foot high granite obelisk which sits to the east side of the A851 overlooking the Sound of Sleat, 3 miles north west of Armadale and just over 200 yards from Kilmore Parish Church.
The names of those who fell in the Great War (3 panels) are listed with their address.
Lists 53 names from the Great War, 12 from the Second World War and 1 name from Aden, 1955.
(1 female listed, Pte. Joan MacInnes, ATS.)
